The Apprenticeship programme is a key facet of the Rolls-Royce
Future Talent scheme, which also includes Internships and Graduate
Placements, and is one of the most respected in the UK. It offers
successful candidates outstanding development opportunities in
departments and functions across the company, as well as nationally
recognised qualifications through local further and higher education partners.

The Rolls-Royce Apprentice scheme was first launched in 2006;
since then, more than 200 people have completed the programme, the
majority of whom remain employed at the Home of Rolls-Royce today.
Those who complete the programme have a clear progression plan, with
many former Apprentices now holding senior management positions within
the company.

Rolls-Royce is seeking applications from young people with a
wide range of prior experience, interests and educational backgrounds.
Most Apprenticeships will begin in August 2026, with opportunities
available in specialisms and at levels including:

Level 2 – two years, equivalent to GCSE

• Interior Trim Centre
• Vehicle Production
• Industrial Sewing
• Interior Surface Centre, Wood

Level 3 – three to four years, equivalent to A-Level

• Exterior Surface Centre
• Vehicle Production
• Vehicle Paint Engineering & Maintenance
• Metrology

Level 6 – four years, equivalent to undergraduate degree level

• Vehicle Quality Management
• Production Maintenance
• Site Services
• Sales Operations & Planning

Rolls-Royce has a carefully considered selection process designed to
provide equal opportunity to prospective candidates, ensuring the
right candidate is placed in an appropriate role. The process begins
with setting up a candidate profile and completing the online
application form, followed by an online assessment testing verbal and
numerical skills. Successful candidates will then be invited to a
face-to-face assessment centre in April 2026, with all applicants
receiving detailed feedback on their performance.
