Acura at Long Beach

• Acura is celebrating a milestone at this year’s Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, as the company honors 40 years since its debut in 1986. Several tributes will be present across the weekend to commemorate the occasion.
• Acura enters the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach weekend looking for their first victory at the track since returning to the top class of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in 2018.
• This year, Acura will run two electrified ARX-06 GTP class prototypes fielded by Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian.
• The #60 ARX-06 will be driven by 2013 Long Beach winner Colin Braun and Tom Blomqvist while the #93 will be driven by multi-time Long Beach winner Renger van der Zande and Nick Yelloly.
• Both MSR entries are looking for their first podium finishes of the 2026 season.
• Acura and its performance arm, Honda Racing Corporation USA (formerly Honda Performance Development), are both Southern California based—with HRC’s headquarters in Santa Clarita and Acura’s just up the road from the streets of Long Beach track in Torrance, California.
• Alongside the Detroit event, the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach is the shortest race on the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship at just 100 minutes.
