Porsche Cars Canada has recently appointed Matthias Wacker as the new head of after sales. Previously, Wacker was associated with Porsche AG, where he played a significant role in after sales and supply chain strategy over the last five years. Beginning his tenure at Porsche in 2013, he worked in product monitoring and quality analytics at the company’s main headquarters in Zuffenhausen, Germany.
Wacker succeeds Alexander Pretsch, who has returned to Germany after a four-year stint at the Canadian division.
John Cappella, President and CEO of Porsche Cars Canada, praised the new appointment. “Matthias brings a distinguished track record, expertise, and profound understanding of the brand, which makes him a perfect fit for our team,” he stated. He also expressed gratitude towards Pretsch for his service and contributions to the company’s achievements in Canada.
This operational change marks a significant move in Porsche Cars Canada’s strategy to enhance their after sales service.
