EV incentives in Nunavut

Original AutoMart Canada notes for shoppers in Nunavut. Rates and programs change — confirm with a dealer, insurer, or the provincial government before you buy.

Federal iZEV is closed. Charging and parts logistics make most battery-electric models a poor fit unless you have a plan for both.

What still matters in Canada after iZEV: on-sale confirmation for this country, NACS / CCS charging on the car you actually get, cold-weather range, and whether your hydro utility offers a time-of-use overnight rate.

Arctic. Unpaved and ice travel is normal outside Iqaluit’s short road network. Battery range estimates from a US window sticker will not match a January commute in Nunavut.

Used EVs and plug-in hybrids sometimes qualify for provincial programs that new vehicles do not. Read the current government page; AutoMart does not pay rebates.
