Nissan Canada’s current president, Steve Milette, is set to broaden his professional horizon by assuming the role of Division Vice President of Dealer Network Development and Customer Resources and Training for both Nissan U.S. and Canada. This change will take effect on August 1st, as announced by Nissan in their recent press release detailing leadership advancements in North America. Milette will work under the guidance of Vinay Shahani, the Senior Vice President of U.S. Marketing and Sales, and will operate out of the regional offices in Franklin, Tennessee.
Highlighting his unique contributions, Jeremie Papin, Chairperson of Nissan Americas, remarked that Milette was the inaugural Canadian leader of Nissan Canada and holds the record as the longest-serving president since the company’s establishment nearly 60 years ago in Canada.
In his new capacity, Milette will oversee the dealer network for both Nissan and its luxury brand Infiniti across the U.S. and Canada. His responsibilities will also extend to managing customer resource operations and implementing training programs for staff across dealership locations.
Papin praised Milette’s role as a pivotal agent of change, benefiting Nissan’s alliances with employees, dealers, and customers across Canada, and positively impacting the broader Nissan network.

His leadership was instrumental in enhancing customer experiences and strengthening dealer relations in Canada.
The details of Longley’s successor will be disclosed later, as per the official communication from Nissan.
