Acura at Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen

• Renger van der Zande and newly-crowned 24 Hours of Le Mans champion Nick Yelloly are seeking their second-consecutive victory in the #93 Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian ARX-06 after winning the most recent sprint round at the Detroit Grand Prix. 
• Acura has achieved six previous wins at Watkins Glen, including a 1-2 finish for the Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti and Meyer Shank Racing ARX-05s in 2022. 
• Kaku Ohta—a Honda Racing Corporation development driver—will be rejoining the #93 lineup for the endurance event, having made his debut with the team in the Rolex 24 at Daytona back in January. 
• The #60 will be co-piloted by Colin Braun and Tom Blomqvist, who shared the podium together as Acura MSR teammates in the 2023 edition of the six-hour race.
• All four full-season Acura MSR drivers have notched impressive finishes at WGI, with Braun earning five podium finishes (2018, 2021×2, 2022, 2023) as well as a win in 2014; van der Zande scored back-to-back wins in 2015 and 2016, as well as three further podiums (2021, 2022, 2024); Blomqvist with two podiums (2022, 2023), and Yelloly with a victory in 2023.
• Both Acura MSR teams are aiming for further podium finishes, with the #60 claiming second in the season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona and the #93 scoring third at the Twelve Hours of Sebring earlier this season.
• The #93 GTP represents an increased presence from Honda Racing Corporation USA (HRC US) within the organization as the HRC US team strategizes and engineers the racecar for the very first time in IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship competition.
