BMW Group Canada announces limited production run of the BMW 540i xDrive Legacy Edition for the Canadian market. – AutoMart Canada

the return of a true icon with the launch of the 2026 BMW 540i xDrive
Legacy Edition. This exclusive edition reintroduces a highly
sought-after variant for a limited time to the Canadian 5 Series (G60)
lineup – one that embodies the essence of the traditional 5 Series
experience. With its revered inline 6-cylinder engine at the core, the
Legacy Edition delivers the kind of performance and refinement long
associated with BMW’s most celebrated sedans.

Further elevating its appeal, the Legacy Edition includes BMW
Individual Manufaktur paintwork at no additional cost, M Sport Pro
Package, 21″ Individual wheels, and a rich suite of premium
equipment – all offered at a single, all-inclusive MSRP. Limited to
151 units, this special edition has been carefully curated for
customers who appreciate both heritage and performance.

The 2026 BMW 540i xDrive Legacy Edition is powered by the
now-legendary 3.0-litre BMW TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder engine
with an output of 375 hp and 398 lb-ft. of torque. Paired with an
8-speed automatic transmission, the 540i xDrive accelerates from 0 to
100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds. The intelligent xDrive all-wheel-drive
system ensures optimal traction and stability, making it a perfect
companion for Canadian driving conditions.

Inside, the vehicle offers a luxurious and spacious cabin, featuring
high-quality materials and advanced technology. BMW iDrive with
Operating System 8.5 and the BMW Curved Display provide seamless
connectivity and intuitive control, while the 18 speaker Bowers &
Wilkins Surround Sound System elevates the driving experience with
premium audio quality.

The 2026 BMW 540i xDrive Legacy Edition will be available for order
starting June 18, with deliveries expected to begin in Q4 2025.
